In El Salvador, the Civil War separated thousands of families, and one of them was Mari’s. By crossing personal and geographic spaces, Mari left the far south of Brazil on a journey to discover her roots and reunite with her family in El Salvador and Canada. On the path Mari stitches affections and dreams with the present life. By listening to her family's memories, she also reconstructs the memories of her homeland.
The project received the Doc Brasil Meeting award at the Brasil CineMundi co-production meeting in 2018.
