Set in the river-woven mangroves of Recife, Brazil, The Riverbank (A Margem do Rio) follows Izaquiel (Caique Copque), a young man whose clandestine nocturnal search for desire takes a dramatic turn when he meets Jeremias, a magnetic fisherman. As seduction gives way to escalating tension and hidden violence, the two embark on a haunting journey where reality and myth intertwine within the city's dark waterways, exploring the complex intersections of faith, sexuality, and power.
